In memory of Craton Ross Sanderson
1940 - 2006

Craton Ross Sanderson, 66, of Boise, Idaho passed away Saturday, July 22, 2006 at his residence.

Craton graduated from Sargent High School in Monte Vista, Colo. in 1958 and received his B.A. degree in teaching from Adams State College. He married his wife, Phyllis on June 17, 1962. He was a very loving and devoted husband. He taught school in Silverton and Gunnison Colo. and then became a sales representative for various agriculture pharmaceutical companies, which transferred them to various states. In 1997 Craton and Phyllis were transferred to Boise, Idaho. After his retirement he drove a bus for Meridian School District. Craton loved running the river, boating, fishing, hunting, camping in the R.V., four wheeling and of course spending time with his grandchildren, family and many friends. Craton held a captive audience with his legendary joke telling and could bring you to tears with his impersonation of Donald Duck. Craton was a member and past president of the Western White Water Association, Elks and a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, son, Greg (Traci),Taryn and John of Austin Tex., mother, Rose Marie Sanderson of Albuquerque, NM, sisters, Charline Albin, (Dan), Denver, Colo., Della Kimberling (Van) of Monte Vista, Colo. and Gloria Robinson, Albuquerque, NM and brother Lee Sanderson (Barb) of Glendale, Ariz., grandchildren, Courtney, Davin and Lance, Lancaster South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews and very special cousin, Craton Royal Burkholder, Aspen, Colo. He was preceded in death by his father and son Steven.

Memorial Service was held Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Cloverdale Funeral Home. Service are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home
